Gas tank question

I bought the top fill tank kit from brothers and it came with absolutely no paperwork, just wondering if the smaller port on it is for the vent line?

Yes , thats your vent. , i have the same tank with side filler has 2 vents. Across from each other , i used a t then up to cannister.

Ok, mine only has the 1..and i do have the charcoal canister from the camaro i pulled motor out of but it wasnt connected? Anyone have a diagram by chance? Thanks for the help, i absolutely love this forum!
