You shouldn't have any issues running 33's without a lift, that's what I ran on my '78 K5. Here's a picture of my current project:
 It's an '84 diesel K5 with 275/70R18 tires which are 33.2" according to the manufacturer's website. The truck is otherwise completely stock and I haven't had any signs of rubbing. |
