72 Sierra Grande I lost my way

Evening Im lost ive got my cab stripped down i have to replace my inner cowl its rusted pretty bad right where the fenders are attached on both side,s i have that one off im cleaning up all are,s under it but one problem ive lost my marks i made to get it in the same spot as the original so my fenders will line up can any one tell me how to get it in the right place the spot welds dont match up with donor cowl im useing off a 71 any guidence will be appreciated. Thanks

You will need to see another cab or find a way to bolt everything up with the fenders and tack weld it in, remove, and weld.

Morning from TN Thank you for the information thats a good idea ive got a couple of days left cleaning up under the cowl the ill tack it in and bolt up my fenders Thank,s again ill let you no how it worked. Saddle Tramp

Hey buddy. I see your in Murfreesboro also. I've been around the 67-72 stuff a lot and done a few frame offs, so if you need some help or an extra set of hands lining things up let me know. I'd be glad to help ya out.

Awsome Thanks im a couple weeks away from putting the inner cowl back on it was really bad under it ive had to rebuild the vent hole on the drivers side the truck sat outside for 17 years before i bought it ill send you a message when im ready i live over near the VA Hospital Thank again for responding.
