72 suburban sheetmetal
This ad is only for the sheetmetal on the burb. Nothing else is for sale atthe moment. She is pretty rusty in a lot of places but there is still a lot of usable metal on it. Let me know what you need.
Prices start at $25 per cut plus shipping and go up from there depending on what you need. All the doors and rear gates are rusty .

Randy
Take a look and see if it is good enough for what you need. Also let me know how close I can cut the top and bottom so I can get accurate shipping quote Richard .

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
The way you have it cut is fine, for shipping cut it again someplace between the upper hinge and the raised portion between the doors.

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
I also just parted one of these and had some interest in the frame body mounts and rear frame section so keep that in mind when scrapping it.
What do you want for that exhaust hangar at the far rear and are there any over the rear-end? I could also use a piece of the roof door jamb area, above the 3rd door would be best section if its clean. |

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
I have not decided if I am going to part the frame yet. I may keep it to put my 68 panel on. I will get some pictures posted in the morning of how I have cut the body up so far

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
I know the 4th door is not. it was froze up and the nylon wheels were missing. I have not dismantled the 3rd door yet. It rolls up and down decent but will need to check condition of rollers etc.

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
Not from this burb but a pair I bought a while back. I ended up finding a pair of full skins so i won't be needing these. They have some dents but the outside skins are rust free.

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal
Windshield pillars $25 each plus shipping
Gas cut out $40 plus shipping A/C dash there is rust on the ends and would probably be better suited for a radio patch. $100 plus shipping for full dash (was cut at dash pad) or $100 shipped for radio patch .

I already have these two sections cut and forgot to post them. They are from above the rear side windows on each side. One is about 37" and the other is about 39". I would need you to PM your shipping address for an exact quote but I am thinking it will be around $100-$125 for the 3rd door hinge post and one of these including shipping. Richard .

do you want just the outside skin or as it is pictured with wheel tub and inner skin?
I would imagine shipping would be real expensive LMK Richard

the main part of the pillar is the same but it will not be the same at the top section, I don't imagine. I will compare it with my 71 blazer in a little while to see what if any differences there are. It may be just the horizontal top bar that is different. Richard
