69 C10 Longbed motor swap

Hi guys,

I'm preparing to swap out the old 305/TH350 setup in my 69 C10.

I have a Vortec 5700 out of a 1998 pickup mated to the 6L80E trans. I already had the computer re-wired and I'm wondering what else I'm going to need.

I want to move the tank out of the cab so I'm thinking of an aluminum tank behind the rear axle. I plan to use the TBI system on it and I'm wondering if anybody can point me to the right pump/sending unit/lines, etc.

Also, what will I need in terms of motor mounts, transmission cross member, and will I be able to use the existing (nice) driveshaft the PO put in?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve
