4l80 wiring question
I am working on modifying the stock wire harness and chasing wires down per LT1swap's guide. I got all the PCM pins labeled but all the connections that are cut out of the C2 block (all but pink) were chased out and removed. I chased this small bundle to the transmission selector and it seems like too many to remove. did I mess up?

Re: 4l80 wiring question
After posting on your FB thread I looked it up to reaffirm. It's just the black/white wire that should remain on the top plug.

Re: 4l80 wiring question
I don't have a PRNDL/range selector at all. I have none of that.

Re: 4l80 wiring question
I'm not sure how different the 4l80e is from the 4l60e but for the 4l60e you ONLY need the black/white wire on the larger plug and keep all 4 on the smaller plug. Based on your picture, you are very close and accurate, looks like you only have (1) extra pink wire that is not necessary.

What does the black white wire do for the pcm ? Would these 2 wires be all that's needed to provide the pcm info when the vehicle is being shifted into gear ? I just bought a new harness and it does not have the range selector switch plug. I would like to add it in

The black/white wire on the large plug should route to ground. The four wires on the smaller plug route to the PCM and provide PRND A, B, C, and P signals. |
