Black tilt cancelling cam differences

I received this in a parts purchase. It appears NOS, but is different than the other one I have.

Part number is 399297 and the other used one does not have a part number. You can see the different spacing for the cancelling cam ridges.

Anybody know what this is or if one is correct and one is different application?
