Mopar distributors for V8 engines have a flat tab on the bottom of the shaft that engages a slot in the drive gear. Slant six engines have a plastic gear on the shaft so there would be a hole for the roll pin if this was a slant six distributor. I don't remember what the old mopar flat head sixes used. I don't see any way for a gear to attach to the shaft on the distributor pictured so I thought it might be from an old Ford six cylinder engine. They were driven by a hex shaped shaft that that stuck into the distributor shaft.
