STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

This was shared to me on Facebook. Please be on the lookout for this truck.
I believe the truck was spotted in route to Baytown, Texas.

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

I am on board with kwmech there is lots more to this story than we know at this point.
It looks like a decent long bed daily driver, hay hauler, ranch truck with a hole in the cab corner that you could stick your head through, lots of "patina". If someone stole this truck for real from a driveway with a rollback taking the chance of going to prison for more than a few years He probably smoked too much high performance tobacco while watching Barret Jackson

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

Sounds fishy but why would that truck get repo'd. I doubt he was making payments on it.

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

Sure thought I saw that truck on CL earlier this year. Maybe not, I see so many pictures and that one sticks with you bc of the feed sign, but I sure believe I saw it for sale recently.

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

Could it be a CL scam? Sell the truck, see where it goes, steal it, sell it again?

Guys, I just passed on the story that was sent to me from another C/10 guy.
I figure if anyone had seen it we could pass it on to the owner.

No need to write anything into it, or make assumptions.

Sorry, yes there is.. Fraud (if that is what this is )hurts us all..

And They moved a Camaro out of the way to take that truck?

A rollback can and thugs would've taken both.. not left one behind..

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

I didn't post a word until I did a search of Craiglist in the Houston area for this "Stolen truck". If this was my truck I would have posted it stolen on craigslist immediately or sooner. I'm glad the car thieves here in Florida are still using a slim jim, hammer and screwdriver but you never know when they are going to show up with a rollback and my Viper will announce their arrival, my 9 M.M. will announce their departure.

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

Criminals are "unbalanced" by nature, they might steal anything, it doesn't matter what shape it is in.

I had a look at the FB page linked by the other member....that looks legit to me.

In a Stand Your Ground state, you probably aren't allowed to shoot a thief stealing your car UNLESS that thief just threatened your life, which they are likely to do if you tell them not to steal your car.

Re: STOLEN Truck please be on the lookout.

Didn't write or read anything into it at all, or make any assumptions. I said the pickup looked familiar and thought I'd seen it for sale recently. I don't know why that would be interpreted as an indictment.
