72 C10 wheel offset/tire size

I'm looking to install some 20" us mags/tourque thrust II on my 72 C10 swb. What's everyone running for offset and tire size? Truck has factory wheel tubs and is slightly lowered. Any help would be great new to the forum! Thanks

Can't help you with the wheel choice but nice truck and welcome, I'm down in Murphysboro not too far from you. I do a lot of business with Weir.

Re: 72 C10 wheel offset/tire size

There is a nifty little device available for about 100 bucks that measures all of the parameters and allows you to put it on the vehicle to effectively model your choice on the car.

I would call around to the wheel shops in your area to see if anybody has one of these and will allow you to utilize it for your needs.

Basically you attach it to your hub and then place the 'tire contact' patch thingy wherever you want it in your wheel well. When you're happy, take the measurements and then order your wheels.

This worked for me.
Front 20x8 4.5-5.0 BS or 8.5 with 5.0-5.5 BS
Back 20X10 5.5 BS
Get a square and tape measure to double check for your set up.
