67 C10 SWB find

So I parted with my 69 and really didn't think I would find something so soo. I was at the Chevy dealership where I know several guys and mentioned that I sold my 69. The sales Mgr, who I've known for a while mention that he had a 67 daily driver coming in on trade. He asked if I wanted to see the truck which I said yes. Checked it out and it was a perfect truck, running,
driving electrical, etc. I have really wanted to get a 67 small window SWB for my next project and low and behold, I purchased it for 7995.00 I think it's a pretty good deal. I really liked the original tonneau brackets and cover which has a gm part number on them. The cover needs replacing but it's pretty cool I thought. Well, looks like I have another project now!!

Looks good, more pics please. Interesting about the cover being a factory item.

Re: 67 C10 SWB find

So, my plans for now is to just drive it almost daily. After that I'll do a complete tear down and frame up resto mod like I did with my last c10. Keep it for a few years, have some fun with it and like all of my vehicles, I usually sell them after a few years and do another. I'm keeping the parts business alive...lol

I've included a few more pics and the tonneau cover pics with the part. I believe it looks like a GM number, maybe not.

Re: 67 C10 SWB find

Score. Nice little truck to start off with.

I do the same with my projects. Enjoy the build, drive a while (usually about 2 years) and then move on to the next one.
I tell my wife "it's my artistic way to express myself". Actually, I just enjoy the whole process.
