Narrowed 72 k5
The beginning of a front narrow, rear narrowed and bobbed, maybe boat sided and a roll cage.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
Forgive my ignorance; is narrowing it somehow better for off-roading? I'm not familiar with narrowing at all.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
I always thought narrowed trucks look interesting. I normally dont like heavy body mods but these are so purpose built, I dig it. In to see how this one progresses.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
Wow! That's a lot of work! How did you decide on where to cut and fold? It looks pretty wild. Did you consider doing something like an Eagle Ventures hood type of modification? I'll be checking back on this one.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
Pretty neat, not something I would do to mine, but maybe on a spare blazer for the purpose of what your doing, great! Now I need to find a beater blazer, thanks a lot!

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
Thanks all. The hood was a ton of work. There's not many 1st gens with this done. Most of them cut the hood down flush with the fenders but I wanted it to still have most of the factory look and still have the cowl.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
Having a 1st gen I gave it alot of thought before cutting it up. At least a year but then decided this one was a good candidate with some of the body damage and strange repairs someone had already done to.

Re: Narrowed 72 k5
The rear was narrowed to match the same dimensions as the front and bobbed 7-7.5" to make it symmetrical from rear axle to rear of the body as the front axle to the front of the grill.
