Center Console Latch - Is it Reproduced?
I have a center seatbelt console that is in need of a restoration.
It is missing the latch that keeps the lid closed. At one time, I remember seeing it available as a repop in one of the parts catalogs. I haven't been able to find it since. Does anyone remember seeing a repop of this latch? Also need a couple of the rubber bumpers for the lid. Are these reproduced? Would ash tray bumpers work? Thanks for the help! |

Re: Center Console Latch - Is it Reproduced?
Im working on mine now. I can't say about the latch but I got glove box bumpers. They are to small even, so the ash tray ones would be really small. Here is mine.

Re: Center Console Latch - Is it Reproduced?
The rubber bumpers used on rear license plate frames on 90's GM cars work perfectly on our consoles.

I'm in the same position of trying to find the door catch that screws into the console box body -- did you ever find any answers? I wonder if another GM vehicle used the same part.
