Re: Just a cool picture!

Do you have a link to the pic? I'd love to see if it's large enough file size to make a good print of. Cool for sure.
Thanks.

Yep. That's Mt. Shasta, about an hour south of the Oregon border. 14,162 ft. in '85 when I climbed it. Lived up there for a while...God's country, for sure.

Great Pic! Thanks for posting it.

That picture was actually taken 3 weeks ago, it's the rail line that leads to JoesJunk's house.

I'd never buy a new Chevy, but yeah, figure about 15 trucks @ 1965 prices.

Re: Just a cool picture!

Omg. Love it.
I bought my 2006 GMC Sierra for $16,000 new. Now you can't touch one for under $30k
Crazy.
That will be my last new vehicle.
Keep these pics coming. They are sooooo cool

Re: Just a cool picture!

At one time, at some point in their histories, every single truck each of us owns rode a train or trailer like those.

Seriously, in that first picture the whole load could be bought with what it takes to buy a new one. Heck, might get the semi, too, for what a fully loaded truck can cost
