As for matching the paint. That's a tough one. I had a little problem with the paint match. The two gallons weren't exactly the same. I wish I would blended them together. I painted some test parts before I shot the entire bed and was able to get it very close. I think I am the only one that will notice that they are slightly off.
If you are shooting a metallic paint or a flat paint, I would shoot them at the same time. Those kinds of paints can be hard to match if you don't shoot them the same way and in the same temperature. I'd say I kind of rolled the dice and got lucky.
