Re: Just picked up a 1967 GMC Suburban - been sitting in Alaska for 30 years!

I went back up today to get it on 4 wheels so I could drag it out for the appraiser to look at, so I can get the title application sorted out. There is surprisingly little body damage but the passenger side is pretty rusty along the rocker area...or lack of one! Frame looks good and the rear gate works, although the upper hatch is pretty rusty as well as the glass is broken out of it. I think I even have most of the side trim from pieces I've found in the back, along with likely the original transmission. The truck even had some interesting options such as a tach cluster, although that has unsurprisingly been stolen.

This tree literally grew and formed around the truck!

Sitting on some crappy wheels, but it's off the ground and no longer laying frame!

Extraction!

Out of it's hole

And the RPO tag in the glove box. Looks like it come with a 327 originally. Anything on here stand out to anyone?
