You are going to need longer studs if you go much thicker than that. Or switch to spacers that bolt on that have bolts to bolt the wheel on like the S-10 swap dudes use.
Thinnest of those I have found from a reliable builder is 1-1/4 https://www.uswheeladapters.com/ Baer brake systems has nice looking 1/2 inch spacers https://www.summitracing.com/parts/b...0041/overview/ Longer studs shouldn't be that hard to find.
