Hood Insulation
Has anyone here use the under the hood insulation kit that LMC offers? I am thinking about getting it for my truck hoping it would cut down the under the hood noise. Hate to buy it if it doesn't really work.
Thanks. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=125 |

Re: Hood Insulation
Never considered it. I see no need. Is your truck so noisy under the hood you can hear it come inside the cab from outside?

Re: Hood Insulation
I thought about it. Decided to remove the hood, clean up the rust and peeling off paint, repaint and install new foam in the supports. I like the look of the frame and don't want to cover it up.

Re: Hood Insulation
The noise is normal and expected but could always use improvement.
