Maximum front tire size for my drop?

I'm getting close to the driving part of my build on my truck. I am running a 5.5 drop in the front and a 7 inch drop in the back. Whats the biggest tire size I can run and still have full turning range? I will be running factory 4 nub 15 inch rims.

Thanks, and yes I know that drop with 15 inch rims is extreme but its what I want so please stick to a tire size discussion.

Re: Maximum front tire size for my drop?

I have 245/60/15's on my bagged Burban and with that amount of drop I don't have any rubbing issues. Before I reinstalled front bump stop (PO removed them) I would rub at max turn but it wasn't very bad.
The first photo is my currrent max drop with new bags and bumpstops. The second photo is of the old set up showing max drop. Third photo is the of the old drop and my first bump stop experiment. I think the bump stop is 1 3/8" high in the last photo for comparison.

Re: Maximum front tire size for my drop?

I have a 68 c10 that I am building. I am trying to find out what the widest tire and wheel I can put on the front and back. My 2013 GMC has 275/55/20 and that’s what I would like but I don’t know about rubbing. I have the 5 lug on the 68 that came off of a 72 Chevy front and back. Any help would be appreciated figuring out if the 275/55/20 will fit on the 68 Chevy.

I have a 3" drop and run 31 10.50x15, no issues, but I'm not as low as you.
