Re: Report: Shadetree Install of a 4L80E-HD2 TransGo Kit

I have 2006 4l80e it shifts good except for going in to overdrive it just slowly glides into o/d its a dbw 6.0 you have to feather the pedal and let off for a second or 2 and then get back on the pedal to get it in to o/d just a pain in the ass I was gona send my ecm out to Brendan in mo. he emailed me back and said I would be better off installing a trans go kit because he reflashed my ecm a while back and took out the vats and o2 sensors and he said he had already set my ecm for more line pressure for better shifts .. so I am gona buy the transgo kit and try it .but I am gona get a transmission shop to install it. I have been a mechanic for years but I a have a hard time seeing and getting in and out from under the truck I allways liked to do everything to my own truck my self .. but I am learning its time to let so called professionals to install it . I will let yall how it does shift after this install .
