Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

Tearing down my mutt of a 1969 K10 to deal with a flimsy accelerator pedal*. It's definitely not stock, nor in great shape. Anyone know what this is off of? Cross checking LMC catalog it doesn't appear to be off of a Chevy pickup between 1967-1989, but the drawings could be misinterpreted. It is accelerator cable, not rod.

*Pedal was attached to rod by a bent roofing nail, Rod support mount cover plate is plastic and very cracked/cut.

Re: Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

Looks like someone attempted to install the later (71-72) cable style pedal in a early "rod" style truck.......

Re: Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

Thanks all! Does anyone have a pic of one installed? The diagram in LMC truck looks different to me.

So, the mount bracket attachment points are all spaced 2" on center (equilateral triangle).

Re: Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

Thank you for it! Are there any return springs hidden in there or just up at the carburetor?

It's looking like I have the pedal, shaft, and cable off of a 71-72, but it's mounted using the traditional 67-70 bracket.

Looks like my '67 pedal before the rod broke in half inside the "mounting plate". I replaced it with a Lokar pedal & cable setup.

Thumbs up Re: Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

What year did they change the hindge floor mounting, to firewall only? Are there any bolt holes in the floor under pedal?

Re: Identify this: Accelerator controls off of ???

The 69 was a hinged floor originally. Alas, the floor pan had long since disappeared--along with it the pivot points.

They went to a cable throttle in 1971. The earlier trucks did have a nutplate under the floor that the ball studs screwed into that the pedal snapped onto. 71-2's still have the flat spot in the floor for them, but no holes or nutplate of course.
