Re: no spark

I just went through the same thing on my 86 GMC. I had no interior power and no power under the hood. Mine tuned out be the fusible link that is bolted to the terminl that is mounted at the top of the fire wall near the center. The fusible link was connected to a lug that connects 2 wires. One wire I think goes to the inside of the cab and the other wire goes to the starter, I think. Anyway, I bought 2 #14 fusible links and did away with the lug the connected all 3 wires. Now both of those #10 wires have their own #14 fusible link that is connected to the terminl at the top of the firewall. I am thinking 2 #10 wires connected to one #14 link could create more heat than a single link might handle, thus melting quicker.

Usually the module will allow the engine to turn over but you will not have any spark at the plugs. I have change a many of those until I bought an Excel module.
