71 Lowered Tire Size

I have just bought (another) 71 c-10. Actually a gmc so it is a coil spring front and leaf spring rear. Looking at lowering 2.5 inches in the front (spindles) and around 4 inches in the rear. I have a set of 17x8 torque thrust wheels from a previous project. I am looking for suggested tire sizes for this set up. I plan on driving it so I don't want a lot of scrubbing. So far I have figured somewhere around 225/55-17 in the front (26.7x8.9) and 235/60-17 in the rear (28.1x9.3). Has any one run this set up? Pictures and suggestions would be appreciated.
