another disc brake conversion question
Was wondering if anyone has found a complete disc brake conversion kit that has, 2" drop spindles, rotor/caliper all the hardware that doesn't make the wheel stickout further? Also would like a lowering kit that's has everything complete.

Re: another disc brake conversion question
Started to order a kit a couple days ago, and noticed it said makes the wheel stick out further. Thought someone might have overcome this problem.

Re: another disc brake conversion question
The last response brings up another question, what bolt pattern is Chevy truck? I figured seems its Chevy half ton it would be 5x5 3/4. I know not all are, even now but what the heck is it?

Re: another disc brake conversion question
5 on 5 for GM 2wd trucks and vans from 71 up to the early 90s
Big GM cars are that pattern from the 60s to the 80s Also big Ford & Lincoln cars through out the 70s. Lots of possibilities for 9” rears if you want to go thru the work to swap one.

Re: another disc brake conversion question
Just purchased this day before yesterday.
https://www.azproperformance.com/Pro...liper-C10.html This kit comes with 2 1/2" lowering spindles though. Not sure if that is optional. Last edited by jbice70gmc; 03-07-2018 at 09:28 PM. |
