Who do you recommend for custom seat covers?

I'm looking to have a cover done for my 70 with olive custom cloth. I've read that there have been some issues with certain vendors, so who is everyone recommending now? Thanks!

Re: Who do you recommend for custom seat covers?

I got a cover from Seatcovers unlimited, great fit, storage pocket full width, in the Scottsdale cloth. Only con is the static electricity when ya get out, I spray a Downey/water mix on once a week, it helps but mostly Ive gotten in the habit of staying in contact w/metal on door till I am out.

Dang that’s rough, crazy ideal but wonder if you could run a ground strap to that seat cover? Lol, I would be like you trying to find something to quit that shocking exit. Maybe someone else here has had that problem and found a solution.

Re: Who do you recommend for custom seat covers?

I'm looking for original material restoration seat covers. Mine is olive custom cloth which isn't available, so I'm looking for someone to make it. I know Truckseats was who everyone was using, but I sent a message and haven't heard back. Who else are people using?

A Good upholstery shop can make them, I checked my supplier and the material is available but its not cheap. (I have my own upholstery shop in Ia.)

Assume the dark metallic green is different color than olive?

Re: Who do you recommend for custom seat covers?

BTW, my 70 came with the houndstooth cloth/vinyl that is supposed to start in 71, maybe because of late build date (7-10-70).
