1966 GMC Factory Radio “Re-Install” Help

After finally tracking down a nice-looking radio, I am having trouble installing it. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to install the support rail. Does it get installed to dash or firewall or someplace else? Would anyone be able to snap a picture for me? Forum and google searches have yielded no results. As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.

These threads answer all of my questions. It looks like I am missing the bracket that connects directly to the speaker. Only the long “arm” was supplied with the radio I bought.

Thanks again for the help!
