Without a doubt I don't want to remove that riser. ESPECIALLY the rear portion that goes across, and there is no need to anyway. I removed the front portion on my last cab 40 years ago, it did weaken the floor. But on the same note, I bolted LeMans bucket seats down and drove it for a few years like that every day and never saw an issue.

This time I sectioned that riser, it's looking good!
