1979 Chevy Suburban K20

I have a 1979 Chevy K20 Suburban for sale. It is in really nice shape for its age. This truck is from Oklahoma and has very little rust. It will need outer rockers as they have holes. A few of the doors have some surface rust at the lower pinch weld. No holes yet. There is some bubbling at the quarter to roof seam on the c post. The floors, cab mounts, and front fenders are solid. The hood is bowed, I don't have a front bumper currently. It does have rear ac but none of the ac is hooked up. Who ever put the 6.5 in hacked the heater housing to fit the turbo in.

The interior has been swapped to 81 up style and is pretty nice. I was told the power locks work but I do not know. I have not put a battery in it. I do not have a key for the rear gate. The power window supposedly works too on the rear gate. This truck has a 6.5 turbo diesel in it. I do not know the condition of the engine. It turns over but won't start is all I know about it so far. Supposedly it ran 6 years ago when it was parked. I haven't tried to do anything with it yet. It has a 700r4/208 with a corporate 10 bolt front, and a 14bff rear. I'm not sure on the gear ratios yet. It does not have the wheels and tires pictured any longer. It has rollers on it. The previous owner started removing the 6.5. I have the radiator and drive shafts for it. This was a K10 and had K20 axles put under it.

This will make a nice truck and is a great start on a square body suburban. I do have a good running 350 I'd throw in with the suburban. $2200 OBO or I'd trade it for a 67-72 Chevy or GMC 4x4, or a 68-72 suburban in similar condition. I can get more pics as well.
