Ram Horn Manifold Flanges
Good morning all,
Spent some time out in the garage on the project yesterday only to find another snag. The long tube headers that were on my truck when I bought it do not fit with my new suspension. They want to occupy the same space as the lower control arm cross shaft end. The Ridetech shafts are longer than stock. Anywho, a buddy had a couple sets of manifold sitting around that I could borrow for a while until I swap in the LS. I have one of each below. I'm not sure of the rear exit will work with my Locar shift linkage. The center dump on the ram horns will be a little tight, but I think I fabricate something up. Both of these manifolds have 2.75" bolt center, so that would be something like the image below. Not ever messing with these, This appears to need a flared pipe and a donut, but I am having a hard time finding the flared pipe. Any ideas? I only need 2-3" of pipe. I am going to fabricate something to attach to the exhaust currently on the truck. I really want to get it back on the road so I can enjoy it before winter comes. Thanks! |

I think they sell the small flanged pieces at most auto parts stores, but mine were formed by the muffler shop.
