That is an interesting find and a good way for the company to show their precision. I haven’t seen one before.

Hoping others will chime in. While I don’t think it is odd, I do have a diagnostic oscilloscope roll around piece of equipment by Sun, guessing from the 1940’s. It came from a Chevrolet dealership that closed in 1974 and I picked it up for $5 at auction about 15 years ago.

Also picked up a complete strobe light spin balancer for balancing wheels on the vehicle. It uses a 220v motor to spin non drive wheels. Paid $10 for it at an auction at a Ford dealership closing years ago. No one else knew what it was.

I’ll get some pictures this week.
