Brake Booster Rebuild
Hey all!
My brake booster just gave out while I was driving the other day (72 C10) and I was going to replace it but seeing as it was only about 3 years old I was wondering if anybody had advice on how hard/easy it is to rebuild instead? |

Re: Brake Booster Rebuild
Get another one or take to a place that rebuilds them.

Re: Brake Booster Rebuild
I rebuilt one myself back in the 80s. You could still buy kits for them back then. I'm not sure about now. There is a large diaphram inside and a large spring. Be careful. In my case the spring broke and punctured the diaphram. Be safe and buy a rebuilt or new booster.
