Re: Anti roll bar???
Just a word of advice,, don't cheap out on a antiroll fixture. I bought 3 of the ones from Jeggs with the through-bolt ends. Then ONE from Mark Williams with the splined end.
There is about 3x the price difference,,, but that old Quote:
Here's two pictures of a poorly setup 4link before the antiroll fixture, and after a few failed Jeggie one and now the MW. The body was not twisting, but the differential was trying to rotate out from under the chassis (BIG TIME) It eventually even snaped one of the steel Koni SPA shocks and I replaces rod ends ona regular basis. Kinda some big pictures so i'll drop links and not images before (and remember, was POORLY setup when I bought it) http://www.small-block-chevy.com/ima...NovaTwist1.JPG after a BUNCH of changes more power more shock, and the MW antiroll fixture http://www.small-block-chevy.com/images/nova10.jpg All I can really say is if your not planting BOTH tires evenly,, they are a GREAT tool

On my C10, I built this custom through-frame antiroll device using leftover parts since I don't have the room above the rearend housing like I did on my Chevy II...

Re: Anti roll bar???
Thanks for the replies. My trucks already pulling a 1.37 60ft time with stock suspention (coil spring, 3way shocks, and a air bag). So its leaving pretty good for a stock weight truck.it just pulls the left a little higher than right. I know the arb will help it leave leavel but how will it affect my times. Heard it might hurt 60'. Is a low 10second truck. Thanks. Oh and if I buy one, I'm going to be getting a well built one. Any more suggtions?

Re: Anti roll bar???
Why you thinking has to be a splined unit? I was thinking that way at one time but realized it was totally unessary, also heavy, ended up having one of these installed and just upgraded the links to better quality units. My truck is 4-linked, but mine is mounted to my shock tower and then goes down and attaches on the front of my rear end.

Re: Anti roll bar???
This is mine. It was built with two pieces of tubing (one inside another). With bushings in the mounts. After ten years or so I had to have a machine shop fab new bushings for it. Has worked well for me.[IMG][/IMG]

My main object is to get the truck to launch square. so it stops pulling to one side while the front is up. I’m having to correct in the air So when the tires touchdown it makes a small correction to go straight again Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Anti roll bar???
Thanks for the compliments KID. I'm keeping with my Index racing. The truck certified 7.50 years ago. It still certifies 8.50 now. I'll just run it out of rollcage. No plans on a FC cage.

Re: Anti roll bar???
Getting it ready to install. Went with a quartermax 2” splined kit.
