Steering Column Wire Harness

It’s been 7 years since I took it apart and some days it’s a struggle finding all the parts I squirreled away. I swear I remember a 8” or so harness piece that plugs into the column harness and then into the main harness. I’m hoping someone can confirm or deny this so I can either stop looking or tear the garage and shed apart 1 more time. Thanks

There is an adapter that plugs the newer turn switch harness into the older connector. The new replacement TS has a flat connector while the original is curved. Sometimes it comes with a new switch. It can be bought at most specialty parts stores.

I’m not trying to convert anything, everything is OEM.

This adapter is a short harness like you describe. I figure that's the piece you can't find.

I do not have any flat terminals. End from the main harness is curved. End fron the steering column is curved. I’m not try to “adapt” a newer harness.

Doesn't sound to me like you are missing anything, just plug it together!

There is no short harness off the steering column. The 2 curved plugs go straight together.

X3, you are not missing anything. That pigtail you have comes off the turn signal switch for signals and hazard lights as well as the horn. I just replaced mine and that is all the wiring there is, no extra connector. There is not a lot of slack in the harness, but it isn’t stretched extremely tight either.
