68-72 frame. help
I found an 68-72 swb frame. I but people are tell me its a 73-87 frame. Need to confirm wht it is. Its 2 hours away.

well what ever year it is your looking for, that frame was cut the front of the frame both 67-72 and 73 -87 should be be rounded at the front end of the rails.

Big round washers on front and back of control arm pivot, 73 -87.

Judging by the lower control arm bushings I would say it is the 73 and later style. The 67-72 should look like this.

The drop in the frame where the cab sits is a dead give away too.

Defenetly 73 up,trans crossmember has drop down for a cat,so 75 up

Thanks everyone. I went and bought it. Scraping the frame. Keeping the crossmber for brake conversion and rear end. It also had lowering springs and drop shakles. All together for only $100.
