WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
I am looking for a 69-72 K10 LWB or a K20 frame hopefully in the South East. I would be willing to travel for the right price. Would consider a roller or maybe a frame that had damage in the front. The frame I have is rusted out over the wheel arches. When I got the truck the frame had been repaired several times in this area and now just needs to be replaced to make it safe again.

It's a rough old truck but I'm not parting it. Looking to sell whole.

Re: WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
I am talking to him now just trying to figure out how I can get it. Tried a auto relocation but they want at least a roller. I may have to bite the bullet and make the drive it is about 8 hrs from where I am. Makes for a long day.

Still looking, couldn't get shipping arranged fast enough I guess on the one in Pittsburgh and it got away from me. So if you have one or know of one let me know.

Re: WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
So the frame I have is a roller. When I bought my 71 Cheyenne project, the previous owner had restored the 71 frame already with a 6 inch lift & warn hubs, . I told him I was going to restore it stock. To my surprise, he gave me a complete stock rolling 72 3/4 4x4 frame with 4 spd and t-case that he had. I am swapping springs, rims, hubs. I need to remove t-case & mount, some misc. lines, steering box, front backing plates, and drivelines still. He took the engine crossmember and front most crossmember and put it in the 71 frame. I have the front most crossmember I can throw in from another frame I removed. Has a HO52 and disc brake front. The gears are 4:57. So nice clean straight western frame, 6 inch lift, Warn hubs. I can leave T-case (minus side mount) and trans bolted in if interested. If your interested make me an offer.

Re: WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
You tell me I am not versed on the K20 stuff. I will have to check on shipping from Oregon to NC as well. Sorry for the late response I have been working out of town for the last two weeks.

Re: WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
I have heard k10 and K20 frames are the same, just minor year differences. Shipping would be outrageous. One will inevitably pop up for sale locally if you commit to this one. That seems to happen to me often. Maybe give it some time and see what turns up.

Re: WTB K10 LWB or K20 Frame
Thanks everyone for your post. I have a lead on a frame fairly close by (5 Hours) and going with money and trailer in tow this weekend to get it. I will let everyone know Sunday how it went.
Thanks again for all the help |
