Re: 4L80E conversion

Found this out yesterday while working on my conversion. The starter is different with the 4L80e.. The bell of the trans is not larger enough for the nose cone of the stock starter in the 91. Got a starter for a 95 which bolts up after you locate the proper length bolts which are shorter. Had to lengthen the shift rod from the column by about 2''. Had to lengthen the t-case shifter rod by the same. Working on the strut from the bellhousing to the t-case now. Still have the wiring to do. X-member was moved back 3-1/4 inches. Looks good so far though.
