48 Cab Louvers Prep for Paint
Anyone have any advice to get can find/ louvers straight and ready for paint? I’m thinking wood paint sticks, pliers with electrical tape etc, but figured someone out there has better tricks to get louvers looking pretty even.

I used sheetmetal vice grips on mine...how bad are they?...any pics

Great idea on sheet metal vice grips. I don’t have any pics right now. I have the truck ins storage and the few pics I have don’t show the louvers very well, but I don’t think they are bad

There is another "plier" that would work even better a "seamer."

If you have the door off you can reach them from both sides if you have to but I like their ideas.

I removed my louvers when I sectioned the cab. But the cowl vent, omg I HAVE TO have a cowl vent, always enjoyed it when I drove the truck years ago.
