LS Swap From Donor ‘04 Suburban

I’m preparing for an LS swap in my ‘72 K10. The donor vehicle for the LS is an ‘04 3/4 suburban w/ lq4 and 4l80. Swapping motor and trans. I’m looking for a comprehensive list of what I need to salvage from the Suburban. Anyone know where I might find one?

all depends on how much are you going to reuse take darn near everything dont forget the OBII port the big cost in this swap is all the little parts you have to replace

I'm going with CPP for the conversion kit. Josh Macormack for the engine harness. Macormack Fab and Kustom.

I'm in the process of taking an LQ4 out from my 04 2500. If yours is drive by wire like mine don't forget the pedal and pedal control module if you don't want to convert it to a cable throttle body.

Re: LS Swap From Donor ‘04 Suburban

There seems to be a lot of issues on here with CPP parts and not fitting or poor quality

Re: LS Swap From Donor ‘04 Suburban

The CPP swap kit with the Headers is great.. i used it... everything else is kinda "just ok".. I used a PSI conversion harness. Boyd's tank, and R&D radiator. i also have a 6.0 lq4 with a 4l80E

Re: LS Swap From Donor ‘04 Suburban

What are you doing for the trans to t/c?...
I agree..keep everything you can possibly salvage from the donor...
I would look into aftermarket harness..unless your just wanting to do your own..I used psi...
