1970 C20 bench seat question

I have a 70 C 20. The stock bench has seen better days, bad foam and broken springs.

I found a bench seat from a 75 C10. Will this work for my truck? Are there any modifications that will need to be done to make it fit?

I’m thinking that it won’t bolt up correctly. You can always measure the seat frames to verify.

Re: 1970 C20 bench seat question

It won’t bolt right up. Seat frames and mounting tracks are different. I’m sure you could “make it work” by drilling new holes and/or modifying mounts. Most any older seat you find will have busted springs on the sides which cause you to lean outwards and be uncomfortable. Repair the one you have is what I’d do.

Thanks for the advice. Any idea on where to source springs?

A local Auto Upholstery shop can fix your springs for you.
