how do you install that little rubber pedal pad on the pedal. I tried several times but can't fit it on. Any tricks to installing? thanks, Larry

A kittke WD-40 to slick things up a little and, with the help of a cotterkey extractor tool to roll the lip of the pad over the pedal and it's done..

They get a lot of pressure from a foot being pushed on them, so they are really tight so as to not slip off at the wrong moment. I did mine without any lube starting at the bottom, since they taper out as they go up. It wasn't any fun. I think that the factory uses the same lube that is used to mount tires on the rim.

If you have the stainless trim that goes on the pedals, Install those last, straighten the folded tabs before pressing over the rubber pedals.
