700r4 fluid capacity on fluid and filter change

I'm planning on changing my 1984 C10 Suburban transmission fluid and filter. Any recommendations. This will be the first time I've performed this on this vehicle and on a 700r4. I just got this burb. Fluid type, Dextron III from what all I've found. How many qts?

If it’s just an oil change not a flush do as stated above drain it out and measure it. I think about 6-7 litres went in mine but I might have a big aftermarket sump. When checking your dip stick oil level don’t forget to check it warm with the engine running in neutral. Also a good time to check your tv cable adjustment. I’ve just done all this with mine a couple of weeks ago
