yowza! that price hurts my eyes!
i've prototyped a lot of hood strut kits for cars and trucks using struts and brackets from mcmaster-carr $18 for gas springs and $3 for brackets struts do push up on the back of the hood, chances are if stocks springs are pushing up, struts will too ogre designed all the gas struts and brackets for truk
