I'd like them both but I like to use the narrower trim ring that came on the 88+ C1500 steel wheels on the 73-87 rally wheel.
Back to the question of when GM had the 15x8 steel wheels. Not sure what other applications they may have come on but the majority came from the 83-86 run of the military M1009 CUCV's (K5 Blazer).
