Talking Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

It started snowing here about 7:45. It was a mix of rain & freezing rain up to then. Less than 1 hr we had over 1" on the ground. Haven't seen it snow like this for several years. Rhett's having a good time playing in it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

That's how it's been snowing here since just before dawn. They say 2-4" and snow till early afternoon. Might get more than they thought, or it'll be letting up. I'll have to grab a picture

Love the heated floor in the bathroom. Still need to do some wiring for an exhaust fan/light in the shower.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

I just picked this up this morning. A Roland JC120. I've wanted one for a while now. And I got a smokin deal on it.

It was a pain to move. It's HEAVY! Still worth it. It's a great amp. I've lost track of how many amplifiers I have. Too many.

But this is my favorite.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Hiking on the C&O Canal Towpath last Saturday we came upon an old mine site across the canal I never knew about. We spotted a mine entrance cut into solid rock and what was left of the narrow gauge grade so we hiked over there. I don't know a lot about geology but we think it may have been a copper mine. My sister knows more about Blue Ridge Mt. geology and said the white (not quartz) in the rock and this blue is found when there is copper in the rock. Here is some of the blue

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Same here. I like squirrels and have great respect for their athletic abilities. But if they become destructive, decide they'll make a home in my building instead of the trees where they belong, or wreak havoc on my bird feeders I send them to squirrel heaven. I don't mean eat the bird seed, they can have some, too. I mean tear things up to get a little. Some do, some don't. Right now I am not filling the feeders, birds get deprived, because these two little SOBs figured a way to empty out the feeders dumping it all onto the ground the day I fill it. They only eat so much and the birds move in. But most gets ruined.

I rebuilt the wood door to my sister's storage room off her deck. She keeps bird seed in a metal trash can in there. Those SOBs have destroyed that door chewing their way through it. Argh!!

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

I put up a bird feeder on a pole some years ago. One morning I looked out to see a long furry tail hanging off the feeder with his back to me. As my sleepy wife walked in I exclaimed " have you ever seen a bird that furry"? It took her a couple of minutes to figure it out. l
Anyway, I cured the squirrel problem. I wrapped the pole just under the feeder with roof flashing. He just couldn't get up past that and finally gave up.

We don't have many bushy tailed squirrels out here. Sometimes we will have one hanging around for a while. A few years ago one drowned in our water trough in the yard

But the pack rats! I hate those bastards. The ones that the cats or dog don't get I will shoot with .38 snakeshot if I get a chance. I've also shot them with a .22 but that's harder to hit.

Still a pleasant and beautiful scene. This is what I had expected to see. Aren't the changes of season truly amazing? I feel that way. Stand out there now and it is hard to accept how different standing in that same place will be 6 months from now

My new S333 Thunderstruck. Double barrel. Made in Connecticut. Weird looking gun. It shoots two .22 mag rounds at a time. Takes two fingers to fire it. No safety. Very well made. Check out the trigger. I like it.

Hell yea!

I took this one of my Camaro a couple weeks ago... almost looks like it could be a close up of a hot wheels car. (I parked on the line to get as far away from the ass hat next to me to avoid door dings, I was only in that spot for 5 minutes).

Does that make it equivalent to a .44 ?????
