Original type firewall pad

I am sticking dynamat on the floor and firewall of the 50. I want to use an original looking firewall pad with rubber coating rather than the cardboard. I have filled all the holes in the firewall and am trying to figure out how to attach the jute backed replacement pad. Spray on adhesive like 3m 77, or liquid nail or ?????

Thoughts?

Ditto here. I ran out of 77 mid-installation and used another brand. It fell off but the 77 held.

77 works ok. I use 90. like contact adhesive, NOT moveable as soon as contact is made.
