Fuel sender rattle!

After a few hours of banging around and on my truck, I've finally tracked down the rattle that has been driving me crazy... The fuel level sender was rattling inside the tank! It's loose at the pivot point for the arm with the float. Has anyone ever run into this? I'm assuming the only fix is to replace it as it's riveted together (my level has never been very accurate anyway). Does anyone have a good recommendation for a stock replacement?

Re: Fuel sender rattle!

chevys of the 40's shows the correct sender
Gas Tank Sending Unit 0-30 Ohms (For Gas Gauge) (6V Or 12V)
The correct 0-30 ohm resistance gas sending unit that fits in the tank behind the seat. Made in "stainless steel" to resist rust.
1515466 $35.00
im sure Brothers or CPP would also have one.
