Re: 87 Wrangler Tank fuel Hose

I ended up using the filler neck and hoses from the wrangler. Bought used for $35 on eBay. Shortened the hoses and put the filler neck through the bed. Doesn’t look perfect yet but it works just fine.

My plan was to mount the filler neck from under the bed so the cap would sit flush, but I screwed up when I cut the hole. I had to mount the filler neck on top and now it stick out quite a bit.

Thanks for the reply ! I was looking on EBay early today. I am hooking to find a way to extend the hose so I can put the filler neck closer to the corner of the bed.

The 20 gal tank hoses may work for that.

According to what I found online the 20 Gal hose is shorter by about 5 inches. If I could find a way to attach 2 hoses together that would work too. the problems is 1" is a weird size fuel hose.

Use a bit of pipe to extend them.

Re: 87 Wrangler Tank fuel Hose

Did the same, stock Wrangler filler and 1" hose. No issues at the pump, it is just as fast as my Audi was to fill.
