Electrical Connector when pulling cab
Getting ready to pull cab and wondering about the big square wiring harness connectors on the firewall. It looks like the entire assembly comes out through cab before the harness connectors can be removed and pushed back into the engine compartment. Who has done this recently?

There should be a 3/8 bolt holding the 2 engine harness leads to the fuse block on the engine suide of the firewall. loosen this bolt and the 2 harnesses should separate from the fuseblock. If it's been years since it's been removed it may pull hard.
In this manner the fuseblock can stay attached to cab and the 2 engine harnesses will remain with engine/front clip.

Thanks...that seems pretty easy...I will check it out. I think it will be much easier to replace the cab supports when the cab is off the truck. It is a real pain working under there in tight quarters. I have another cab I can throw on too and that will be a much faster fix. Save the other cab for a winter project...LOL!
