motor number

can somebody help; me and tell me what year and how to decode these number on my engine block 16D494527 .KO4-01-CMJ and here the number on the back of the block 3970010 THANKS

The CMJ is the suffix code. See I here.

It shows it could be a 74 350 or 80 305.
It’s not a 305 because your casting number 3970010 is a 350. See here.

The 16D494527 shows the last six numbers of the vin of vehicle the motor originally came in. Those numbers are 494527.
