Re: 1 Ton Revival

Well I suck at posting a build. Here it is 3+ years after I last posted and I have it finished. The truck has a 427 BBC in it (built by me), a SM465 as the original SM420 had issues, and is now painted blue with a beige interior. The color combo is supposed to be the original color scheme for some of these trucks, but it looks a little dark to me. I am working on debugging it now. I plan on replacing the rear gears from 4.10 to 3.42 for a more highway friendly truck. The engine needs some tuning, but overall I love driving it. I went with CPP front springs and drop shocks along with the stock rear 1 ton suspension and it drives great. Just wish it turned sharper. Oh well, here are the few pictures I have. You can tell that a couple are before I finished it. One other note- the body work turned out better than I expected. I spent 11 months on the exterior body work, I was really trying to get it straight.
